I am forever reading how wine is the acceptable item to bring when you are visiting someone’s home. Of course you can opt to dress the bottle up with a nice bag, a wonderful card, maybe a decorative bottle stopper. But don’t you think that if enough people bring a bottle of wine all those wine bags and wine boxes are going to start stacking up and the host will not be able to remember who sent which one! Well, change it up a bit and make your bottle stand out!

I love wine! And, I love giving and receiving wine as a gift. I live in Southern California in what used to be citrus fields and vineyards. I love the local faire as much as anything. I’ve had the pleasure of doing freelance design for some very well-known vineyards, and have actually been paid bonuses by way of bottles of wine. Once, for a very renowned show, I created name badges and made myself an extra that said “Wino.” (lol!) So, this review is near and dear to my heart. And, in case you’re wondering, my favorite type is Bordeaux, with Riesling being a close runner-up. And, since you asked, yes – my birthday is coming up.
